Product Parameters
Colored titanium screws are only processed through external processes to change the screw into different colors. For example, black titanium screws are coated with a layer of black on the surface. The first step is to cover them with black, which is often called "boiling black". The screw fasteners are directly placed in a chemical solution and boiled to obtain a black oxide film on the surface. After completion, the appearance of the finished product is very beautiful, but the anti-corrosion function is not strong, so oxidation treatment is needed on the external surface. Oxidation blackening is also a common way of surface treatment. This anti loosening treatment is to place the screw fasteners in a strong oxidizing chemical solvent, and after a period of time, it forms a beautiful and dense black iron oxide film, which also has anti-corrosion function.
The density of titanium alloy is generally around 4.5g/cm3, which is only 60% of that of steel. The strength of pure titanium is close to that of ordinary steel, and some high-strength titanium alloys exceed the strength of many alloy structural steels. Therefore, the specific strength (strength/density) of titanium alloy is much higher than other metal structural materials, which can produce components with high unit strength, good rigidity, and light weight. At present, titanium alloys are used for engine components, skeletons, skins, fasteners, and landing gear of aircraft.
Titanium alloy exhibits superior corrosion resistance in harsh environments, which is also the main reason for its application in chemical equipment manufacturing. It has good high and low temperature characteristics, non magnetizability, and low thermal conductivity and thermal expansion coefficient.
The most attractive feature of titanium is its extremely high strength to mass ratio. Their quality is only 57% of that of bulk steel, but their strength can be comparable to that of heat-treated iron carbon alloys. Titanium is an ideal material for manufacturing aerospace, jet aircraft, and missiles. But its biggest drawback is the high cost. Unless there is no other choice, it is not encouraged to use titanium as the material for fasteners.
Titanium screws are a tool concept, which can be classified into round head screws, self tapping screws, hexagonal screws, countersunk screws, flat head screws, etc. According to the manufacturer's requirements, titanium screws of different specifications and types can be customized to meet their needs. Generally speaking, due to the relatively high price of titanium, the corresponding price of titanium screws is also slightly higher than that of ordinary types of metal screws. So why do we choose titanium screws?
Compared with titanium screws, ordinary stainless steel screws have stronger compressive strength in high-pressure environments. Therefore, in aerospace metals, titanium alloys are chosen for production, and titanium screws are used as connecting components.
Titanium alloy machined parts are a high-strength, lightweight, and corrosion-resistant material widely used in manufacturing industries such as aviation, aerospace, medical, and shipbuilding. TC4 titanium alloy parts are usually processed by CNC machining from titanium alloy raw materials, and high-precision parts can be obtained through precise machining processes. The processing difficulty of TC4 titanium alloy parts is relatively high because titanium alloy materials have high hardness, high plasticity, and good thermal conductivity, requiring high-precision processing equipment and processes to ensure processing quality. TC4 titanium alloy parts have extremely high strength and toughness, can withstand high temperature and high pressure without deformation and cracking, and can withstand most extreme environments. The processing of TC4 titanium alloy parts is not only related to factors such as temperature, pressure, and stress, but also to factors such as shape, size, and surface finish. Therefore, strict control is required during the processing. TC4 titanium alloy parts require surface treatment, such as deburring, polishing, etc., to ensure surface quality and accuracy. TC4 titanium alloy parts are widely used in the manufacturing of various aerospace vehicles, aircraft engine parts, missile and rocket technology, medical equipment, and other fields, providing important guarantees for technological innovation in these areas. The manufacturing of TC4 titanium alloy parts usually requires multiple processing steps, including CNC turning, CNC milling, electrical discharge machining, laser processing, etc., which require proficient technology and experience. TC4 titanium alloy parts play an important role in modern industry, not only improving product quality and performance, but also helping to improve the efficiency of quality control and reduce production costs
