application
Anchor is made of carbon steel and comes in blue color. This anchor is designed for concrete, block and brick.
environment
Anchors are designed for use in dry environments.
head style
The anchor is a flat countersunk cross head designed to keep the head from protruding above the surface of the item it is being attached to.
Hole diameter/Drill diameter
Anchors require a 5/32" hole drilled into the base material (concrete, block, and brick). Holes shall be drilled with carbide drills conforming to ANSI standards and used for hammer drilling.
driver required
#2 requires the anchor to be inserted into the base material.
Anchor diameter
Anchor is 3/16" in diameter.
anchor length
Anchor is 1-1/4" long
Thread length
The thread length on the anchor is 1-1/4 inches.
minimal embedding
Anchor embedding minimum 1 inch in concrete. Therefore, anchors must be installed with at least 1 inch of anchor embedded in the concrete.
Maximum Fixture Thickness
The maximum thickness of the fixture or fastening material used for the anchor is 0" to 1/4". This will ensure a minimum of 1 inch (approximately 2.5 cm) of embedding.
Fixture hole diameter
The hole in the fixture or material must be larger than the anchor diameter. A 3/16" anchor diameter requires a 1/4" hole in the clamp.
spacing between anchors
There must be a minimum of 3 inches between each anchor when measuring center to center.
edge distance
It is very important not to install the anchor more than 2-1/4 inches from the unsupported edge of the concrete.
